Currently, Sooke does not have its own standalone rugby club. Local players typically play for Westshore RFC in Colwood or participate in school programs and regional camps.

Sooke Youth Programs & Schools
While there isn’t a year-round club in Sooke, there are specific seasonal opportunities:
Thunder Rugby: This Indigenous-led organization frequently hosts Youth Rugby Camps in Sooke at Edward Milne Community School (EMCS). They focus on making rugby accessible to all youth in the region.
EMCS (Edward Milne Community School): The “Wolverines” high school teams are the heart of rugby within Sooke itself. They typically run programs during the spring school season.
BC Grassroots Rugby: This foundation has historically operated summer programs in Sooke/Esquimalt, providing safe “touch rugby” for kids from all backgrounds.
