Sookarama 2026

While this isn’t a sporting event per se, it did feature some sport related booths. The annual event is organized by the Sooke Lions and a shout out to them, it brings together business and community organizations under one roof to showcase to the public. If you’re running your sport organization as a business and want to showcase your product to the local community, be here next year. The parking lot was full and there was a steady stream of visitors at the booths.

The Sooke Lions put on the event and before you even get inside you’re treated to a BBQ. Hot dogs and hamburgers at a reasonable cost.

The hockey championship banners proudly hang from the rafters as a reminder that skating and hockey will return after the summer.

Canada’s Best Karate understood the assignment, get your product out there, it seemed to be the most popular booth with the kids who could kick and punch the padded shields and meet the instructor.
