Sooke has some of the highest participation rates for sport grants in BC. These three organizations are the “Big Three” for local funding:

KidSport Greater Victoria: Provides grants (up to $700 per child/year) to help cover registration fees for kids 18 and under.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart: Helps with registration and equipment costs for a wide variety of sports.

SEAPARC LIFE Program: The Leisure Involvement for Everyone program provides Sooke residents on limited incomes with a $250/year subsidy for children and $150/year for adults, plus free drop-in sessions.
2. School District 62 (SD62) Academies
For students looking to integrate high-level training into their school day.
